Some history about Russian dating agencies.

In early 90s there were not so many dating agencies in Russia, but interest in Russian Brides have had already been in western countries. As well as interest in western men in Russia, Ukraine and Belorussia! 

The structure of publishing was complicated and took long time. 
Russian dating agencies collected the profiles and pictures.
Then they sent the collected information via regular mail to foreign agencies which published the dating catalogues.
Once every 1-3 months the foreign agencies published the catalogs with information and pictures of Russian Brides and sent them to the men via regular mail.
After receiving a man could chose ladies to write to and sent the letters directly to women or to the dating agencies via regular mail! Can you imagine how long time this process took?
Usually it took 4-6 weeks for a man to receive a reply!

During years, the international dating became more popular, the information technologies were developing, Russian people started to buy computers for use at home and at work, and finally we have seen catalogues of Russian brides already on our computer screens! 

There are still dating agencies in Russia which have an old style of work, when they publish ladies profiles on the dating websites, receive letters from men,  translate (if necessary) and forward them in person. 

Our style of work is to publish ladies who have Internet and e-mail access.
We do not cooperate with agencies.
We do not cut E-mails and phone numbers.
We publish all women with Russian background, who sends us profiles.
We do not correct the texts in profiles or the pictures, making them look better.

Russian Juliets as a dating company was founded in 1993 in Russia and experienced all the hardships connected with regular mail problems, lost mail and long delays.  We started as a small agency and helped Russian women to find foreign men for marriage purpose.  We helped them to find a good photographer and take beautiful pictures.

As not all Russian women know English rather well, we helped them with translation. Now, we are very proud for Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian women because they learn English and many of them can write letters without help and can speak over the phone quite well. Thanks to progress, we can enjoy all the joy of communication, without borders or long delays.
